Who we are
Sango Health ("Sango", "we") provides preventive health checks in Jersey and Guernsey. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Waitlist and contact details — your name, email address, island and product interest, when you email our waitlist.
- Booking details — appointment, contact and payment information when slots are offered to you.
- Health information — questionnaire responses, measurements, blood results, skin images and oral screening findings collected as part of your check. This is special category data and is handled by our clinical team under strict confidentiality.
- Website basics — standard technical logs. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To manage the waitlist and contact you about appointment releases.
- To deliver your health check, produce your report, and arrange any referrals you agree to.
- To meet our legal and clinical record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your health information for marketing.
Legal basis and law
We process personal data under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2017, including the conditions those laws set for health data — principally your explicit consent and the provision of health care.
Who we share it with
Only what is needed, with: our accredited laboratory partners (blood analysis), our certified dermatology imaging provider (skin mapping), and — with your agreement — your GP or a specialist we refer you to. All partners are bound by contract and confidentiality.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details until you book or ask us to remove you. Clinical records for the retention periods required for health records in Jersey and Guernsey.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion where applicable, or withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner or the Office of the Data Protection Authority (Guernsey).
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
